Dynamics 356 Finance and Operations consultant


Permanent or contract position for a Dynamics 356 Finance and Operations consultant. This role will require around 10% on client sites so must be based in Australia and ideally on the east coast.

  • A strong understanding of Finance functions, and D365 Finance & Operations (ideally certified)
  • Experience as a D365FO user.
  • Project Management experience, ideally in a D365 implementation context
  • Exemplary communication skills, comfort interacting with stakeholders with differing technical and financial proficiencies from operational to c-suite
  • Prior experience running requirements gathering workshops and translating stakeholder use-cases in to actionable configuration road maps
  • For the Techno/Functional role – prior experience as a D365 Technical consultant or software developer
  • Evaluate business processes and analyse business requirements
  • Map existing business processes to existing (as implemented) AX/D365 functionality
  • Perform impact assessments
  • Communicate and document business process issues
  • Design functional requirement document and process flows.
  • Perform Gap analysis
  • Develop solution design documentation

What would make you a good fit for this role?

  • Dynamics AX and 365 Finance & Operations and Power Platform implementations as a Finance consultant.
  • Successful completion of applicable Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations product certification exams – MB-300: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Core Finance and Operations, MB-310: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance highly desired
  • Demonstrated experience as a Techno / Functional Consultant
  • Well-versed with agile methodologies
  • Experience working with Professional Services firms
